Riverside Market, Cardiff |
Join us and the R-Evolution The word is spreading - make a great living making vegetarian food at home! Learn how to make the finest vegetarian cuisine and sell it at your nearest Farmers or food market. Last year I made a very healthy living, working from home, 3 days a week, doing what I love. Once you become a member of The Parsnipship collective, you are licensed to produce the food at your local Farmers Market. There are now approaching 800 food markets every month throughout the country, but be quick, to secure your choice of markets. Learn the recipes with me, cooking from our new HQ over two or three days, and then see how I sell the produce at one of my local markets. Please bear in mind that
although you don't need to be a professional chef, you do need to be able
to cook and most importantly have a love of vegetarian food. The Parsnipship encourages the sourcing of ingredients locally and preferably from other stall holders at the market. A vegetable patch and herb garden can really help with the overheads too!! Individuality within The
Parsnipship is actively encouraged, both with the new products YOU can
create and in how your stall looks, under the definition of The Parsnipship
logo. The best individual stall is voted on by all members & wins
a free membership! An annual membership fee of only £275 which includes a contribution towards our Vegetarian Society Accreditation. Plus you pay a small fee per market on a sliding scale depending on how many markets you do: 1 market per month - £25
per market Some additional events
you decide to do, such as food & music festivals are charged a little
higher depending on the size of the event.
You will need to buy some cooking equipment and a few bits and pieces for the market. You do not need a market stall, these are set up by the Farmers markets themselves and you pay a weekly rate to them (usually around £25). You will also need Public Liability Insurance (around £85 per year) and to have your basic food hygiene certificate, which you can do on-line for around £25. Why is it so cheap? Working together, geographically
as well intellectually, The Parsnipship can collectively cater on a huge
scale ; it's the anti-industrial revolution!!! We've gone from a home
based lifestyle to factory and back, everything is cyclical after all!
By working together we will still never be able to meet the demand, The
Parsnipship is that confident in its flavour! Please contact me for further
details. |
Testimonials Karen Welford "Joining the Parsnipship has been a great experience so far. Working for myself certainly beats the 9-5 and I love meeting like minded people enthusiastic about great tasting seasonal food." Grant Jones
